“What began as a passion project has evolved into something more. We’re proud of where we’ve been and even more excited for what’s ahead.”

Our Story

In 2026 we started noticing a trend. We coach and mentor people at every stage of their careers and at every level, but this year a handful came to us in the same situation: experienced professionals over 40, made redundant, and finding it hard to get to their next role. The more we talked, the clearer it became how little exists that is built for them. A LinkedIn group was our first step, a space where they could have honest conversations with each other, and where we could properly understand what they were up against.

We have now shaped Career Circle into a double-ended, unique solution in the Luxembourg HR and recruitment space. We empower mid-to-late career transitions through tailored coaching and skills gap analysis, and since we get to know our members at a deeper level, we are able to recommend them as candidates to our partner employers. Through close contact with our corporate clients, we identify skills gaps on the market in real time and close these long before official statistics catch up. We also offer team and leadership coaching, advice and training on all aspects of the HR function, including training hiring managers how to hire.

We advocate on the value of experienced talent to recruiters and employers. Having managed people from ages 16 to 65, we know firsthand that everyone has something to offer and research proves that age-diverse teams outperform homogenous ones.

“Making a difference for someone, however small, has always been my deepest motivator.”

I’m Andres: Dutch, in my mid-fifties, married, and living in Thionville, just across the border from Luxembourg.

I’ve spent my whole career in HR and have seen it from almost every angle. I started in training and coaching, moved into consulting, and then into internal HR, where I served as HR Director for several international companies, often across multiple countries at once.

Since 2021 I’ve worked as a fractional HR Director. I spend anywhere from half a day to two days a week with smaller organisations that need a senior perspective on their people function.

I’m also an ICF-credentialed coach, holding the Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credential from the International Coaching Federation. That means my coaching follows a recognised professional standard and code of ethics.

Career Circle brings both sides of my career together: the executive experience of sitting at the decision-making table, and my roots in training and coaching. I know how hiring decisions are really made, and I know how to help people move forward with confidence.

“Unlocking potential and opening doors for experienced talent is what drives me every day.”

I’m Steve, from Malta, a 1980 vintage and I live in Luxembourg with my partner and son.

I have over two decades of international leadership experience across business operations, strategy, and talent development.

My career path has spanned diverse roles in advisory, strategy, and people management, giving me a deep understanding of how organizations make hiring decisions, and what genuine talent looks like beyond a standard CV.

Having authored Your Leadership RIDE, and member of EMCC, (the European Mentoring and Coaching Council), l I work closely with senior leaders and individuals navigating professional transitions. I also guide organizations seeking deep cultural shifts, with a particular focus on innovation and corporate entrepreneurship (or intrapreneurship).

Career Circle combines my passion for empowering professionals and my commitment to bridging the gap between talent and the modern workplace.

I recharge outdoors, usually hiking, cycling, or on my motorbike.
